Katsumi is the daughter of the master sorcerer Gigelf, the man who originally brought the Lucifer Hawks to Earth during a magic incantation, unaware of the impact it would have on Earth. Katsumi uses a powerful magic sword called Grosspolina to help her in her battles against the Lucifer Hawk. She is very powerful and adept in the ways of magic and uses these powers to their fullest, though it took a long time for her to learn how to use them properly. Friendly and good-natured, but also self-centered, Katsumi has a tendency to grandstand in dangerous situations, believing she can solve the problem without help, even when she can’t.
